Overview
Clear Bearing is a task prioritization app developed by HyperMod LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Data Stored on Your Device
Clear Bearing stores your tasks, tags, and priority settings locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable Cloud Sync as a Pro subscriber.
Account & Authentication
If you subscribe to Clear Bearing Pro, you may sign in using Sign in with Apple. We receive only the information Apple provides (a unique user identifier and, optionally, your email address). We do not receive or store your Apple ID password.
Cloud Sync
Pro subscribers who sign in can enable Cloud Sync. When enabled, your tasks and tags are synced to our cloud database (hosted by Supabase on AWS infrastructure) so they are available across your devices. Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored securely. We do not access, analyze, or share the content of your tasks.
Subscriptions
Clear Bearing Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information. Subscription management, billing, and renewals are handled by Apple.
Analytics & Tracking
Clear Bearing does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track your behavior, sell your data, or share it with advertisers.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you use Cloud Sync, you can delete your account and all synced data from within the app (Settings → Delete Account & Data). This permanently removes all of your data from our servers.
Children's Privacy
Clear Bearing does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain objectionable content.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
